It’s so crazy that I wrote my last blog, at final debrief, two months ago! And now, I’m sitting in a hotel room in Atlanta, waiting to meet the Racers who I will do life with for the next 5 and a half months! Or I was 6 days ago when I started writing this…haha.

First, I wanted to say thank you to my supporters who have already committed to pray, encourage, and give financially. Your support means so much, and is evidence of the Father’s love and provision…so thank you thank you thank you! If you are interested in supporting me in any way please reach out! Here are some ways that I am specifically in need of support:

  1. Prayer

  • 3 partners to commit to pray daily

  • 3 partners to commit to pray weekly

  • 10 partners to commit to pray monthly

  1. Exhortation

  • 2 partners to encourage weekly

  • 4 partners to encourage every other week

  • 7 partners to encourage monthly

  1. Gifts: Assist in costs of items purchased personally for the Race (World Race Purchases)

  1. Giving: $3350 raised with $1650 to go!

  1. Share: Utilize your influence and connections through family, friends, churches, and social media to anyone who may be interested in supporting me

Now, for the LIFE UPDATES! Almost a week into Training Camp already…What?!?! Since the last blog, I have…

  • Reunited with my family

  • Enjoyed worshiping in churches across NC

  • Spent a week at the beach with my family

  • Had a surprise party to celebrate my coming home, my birthday, and Christmas

  • Got to meet my niece, Julia πŸ™‚

  • Helped my parents do some moving

  • Rested up and probably watched too much Netflix

  • Caught up with some Race friends!

  • Made a couple of cool mission-minded connections in NC

  • Had some meals and calls with mentors and friends to share about the last year

  • Cleaned, shopped, and repacked for Round 2 of the Race!

  • Completed 2 weeks of leadership training in Gainesville, GA

  • Spent quality time with my leadership team (sharing testimonies, worshiping, planning, and playing pickle ball)

  • Have met and begun the bonding process with the Squad πŸ™‚

  • Allowed the Lord to speak into a lot of lies and areas of my life that are in process

  • Grown in intimacy with Him

  • Slept in a tent / bucket showered

All that to say…God is moving mightily on this squad, and I am so so so excited to see how He continues to walk with them as He guides, speaks truth, and shepherds them in just the ways that they need. Please be praying:

  • Increased intimacy with the Lord for us all

  • Open hands for teams, roles, and ministry host placements for the squad

  • Rest and wisdom for our leadership team

  • Against spiritual warfare / demonic attacks … the name of JESUS is more powerful than any attack of the enemy!

Thankful for you all!

  3. Thank you for giving your life to the Lord and for His purposes. You have a heart of desiring God’s will and I am excited to see how that permeates the Chameleons, for as long as you are walking this journey with us. Thank you for giving your life to us and to the Lord!
